Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul routes across the continental U.S.
- Maintain accurate logs and adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Deliver freight on schedule while ensuring cargo integrity at all times.
- Build strong relationships with dispatch teams and clients through professional communication.
- Utilize advanced GPS routing systems for efficient route planning.
- Participate in ongoing safety training and compliance updates.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience.
- Clean MVR and acceptable background check (no major violations in 3 years).
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and hours-of-service rules.
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and adapt to variable weather conditions.
- Flexibility for extended overnight trips (4-6 weeks out).
