Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages, documents, and medical supplies across Portland metro area
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to meet strict time windows
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Inspect vehicles daily and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during all client interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges
- Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Portland streets and navigation systems
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including early mornings
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
