Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) in a safe and compliant manner at all times.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is secured properly for transit.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and necessary documentation (DVIR, Bill of Lading).
- Adhere strictly to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain a clean driving record and professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
