Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe, legal, and efficient manner.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securement.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DOT compliant) and perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Navigate complex routes within the Washington DC area and surrounding states.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and pickups.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate and DOT Medical Card.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
