Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van & refrigerated) within Baltimore metro and surrounding regions
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate logs via electronic logging system
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques
- Provide excellent customer service at client locations
- Complete required paperwork and documentation promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Baltimore/DC metro area routes preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in all weather conditions
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- hazmat endorsement a plus
