Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks for regional and long-haul routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance logs
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation software to meet delivery deadlines
- Secure and unload cargo at various industrial and commercial sites
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status and issues
- Adhere to all federal/state regulations and safety protocols
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report mechanical concerns
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to obtain hazmat certification within 90 days
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) systems
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- No preventable accidents in past 3 years
