Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods to various locations within Illinois.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Prepare and manage all necessary delivery documentation, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company brand.
- Adhere to all local traffic laws and company driving policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of Illinois roadways, routes, and traffic regulations.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging and reporting purposes.
- Strong time management and customer service skills.
