Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, or flatbed) in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Plan efficient routes and maintain accurate delivery logs using ELD systems
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips and report maintenance issues promptly
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques (strapping, blocking, etc.)
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass pre-employment drug test and background check
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and cargo securement
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
