Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food, packages, and retail items to customers across NYC boroughs
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly interactions at every drop-off
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status and delays
- Assist with unloading and organizing inventory at warehouse locations
Qualifications
- Valid New York State driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology
