Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods safely and on schedule
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology for timely deliveries
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of NC roadways and traffic regulations
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and load/unload freight
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexible availability for early mornings and weekends
