Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (trucks/vans) for local/regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and deliveries
- Handle loading/unloading of freight with proper equipment
- Provide excellent customer service during client interactions
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with LA metro area routes and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied weather conditions
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Commercial insurance coverage maintained
- Flexibility for early morning/weekend shifts as needed
