Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for weekend deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Deliver time-sensitive freight across Virginia and neighboring states
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Handle specialized cargo requiring temperature control
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Virginia roadways
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Fri-Sun)
