Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and local routes
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance documentation
- Optimize delivery routes while adhering to strict timelines
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and compliance records
- Communicate with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
- Handle hazardous materials (HAZMAT) certification preferred
- Train and mentor new drivers on company protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Familiarity with California traffic regulations and routes
- HAZMAT certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible schedules
