Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul and regional deliveries
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and DOT compliance standards
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Conduct pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Manage electronic logs (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Secure cargo and maintain safety protocols during transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Hazmat endorsement preferred (training provided if needed)
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and border regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
