Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry van reefers) following DOT regulations
- Transport freight to designated destinations on time and in perfect condition
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Communicate with dispatchers using ELD systems for real-time updates
- Secure cargo and ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading when required at customer facilities
- Adapt routes efficiently based on weather and traffic conditions
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with ELD systems and route navigation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Transportation security clearance preferred
