Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods across New Orleans metropolitan area
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our digital tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and problem resolution
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency while adhering to strict delivery time windows
- Collaborate with dispatch team to communicate delays, issues, or route changes
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience with commercial vehicles
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 75 lbs regularly
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation and digital delivery tracking systems
- Strong time management and organizational skills for multi-stop deliveries
- Excellent communication skills for customer interactions and team coordination
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
