Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans for deliveries across Portland metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries and fuel efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate delivery status via GPS tracking and mobile apps
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Portland area geography
- DOT medical certification preferred
- Proficiency with navigation apps (Google Maps, Waze)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Background check and drug screening required
