Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial locations in a timely manner.
- Observe traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure safe driving practices.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle for cleanliness and report any mechanical issues.
- Collect payment and obtain signatures where required.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS and mapping applications.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and mileage.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C or higher).
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Basic knowledge of the New York City area and geography.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Access to a reliable vehicle (car, van, or scooter).
- Must have a smartphone for app-based navigation and order management.
