Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (53' dry van) on dedicated night routes
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance
- Adhere strictly to HOS regulations and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Ensure on-time delivery while prioritizing safety
- Resolve minor in-route issues independently
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Night shift availability (6PM-6AM schedule)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Texas road networks
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
