Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Execute multi-stop delivery routes with precise timing and documentation
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance records
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route conditions and delivery status
- Adhere to all federal/state regulations and company safety policies
- Utilize GPS systems for efficient route navigation and real-time adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
- Pass DOT physical and substance screening requirements
- Proficient in electronic logging device (ELD) systems
