Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for multi-stop nighttime deliveries
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo efficiently using proper material handling techniques
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS navigation systems
- Provide real-time delivery updates through mobile tracking systems
- Resolve delivery exceptions with proactive customer communication
- Collaborate with dispatch team to ensure on-time performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Knowledge of Florida roadways and delivery zones
- Ability to maintain professional demeanor during night shifts
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
