Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles while adhering to all traffic regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan and execute efficient daily routes using GPS navigation systems
- Load/unload merchandise with precision and care to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of NYC boroughs and traffic patterns
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings
- Basic proficiency with digital tracking systems
