Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring safety and security of goods during transit.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Navigate efficiently through various routes to meet delivery deadlines.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel at delivery locations.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements (Class A or B).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial vehicle.
- Clean driving record with no major violations or DUIs within the last 5 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Basic math skills for cargo documentation and weighing.
