Responsibilities
- Transport and deliver medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and lab results in a timely and secure manner.
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and company safety protocols to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Utilize handheld scanners and mobile apps to track deliveries and update status in real-time.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Verify the temperature and condition of sensitive medical shipments (e.g., vaccines, blood products).
- Communicate effectively with healthcare facilities to ensure successful drop-offs.
- Complete daily logs and vehicle inspections.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Reliable vehicle in good working condition (company vehicle provided if preferred).
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with GPS navigation systems.
- Excellent time management skills and punctuality.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
