Responsibilities
- Safely transport medical specimens, blood products, and critical equipment between hospitals, labs, and clinics
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols for sensitive materials
- Document all deliveries using our proprietary tracking system with real-time GPS monitoring
- Perform pre-trip inspections of company-provided vehicles and equipment
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and biohazard safety protocols at all times
- Coordinate with healthcare staff for seamless pickup/delivery scheduling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and incident reports
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Basic knowledge of medical specimen handling requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and navigate medical facilities
- Strong time management with ability to meet strict delivery windows
- Proficient with smartphone apps and basic technology
- Reliable personal smartphone with data plan (equipment provided)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Previous courier or medical transport experience preferred
