Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle in a professional and courteous manner.
- Pick up and deliver packages to residential and commercial locations with accuracy and care.
- Interact professionally and positively with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Load and unload merchandise, ensuring proper handling and security.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or appropriate state driver’s license.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to follow a route efficiently.
- Basic computer skills for logging delivery information.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
