Responsibilities
- Transport packages and parcels to customers in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Inspect delivery vehicle for any mechanical issues or damages before and after each route.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle packages with the utmost care.
- Maintain accurate daily logs of deliveries, mileage, and customer signatures.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Fold and stack boxes to ensure vehicle capacity is utilized efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License (CDL not required but preferred for some routes).
- Clean driving record with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report (MVR) review.
- Strong knowledge of local geography, streets, and traffic patterns.
- Physically fit to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor at all times.
