Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for long-haul and regional routes during night shifts
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip inspections, documentation, and post-trip vehicle maintenance checks
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize delivery routes and maintain schedule adherence
- Handle hazardous materials (Hazmat endorsement preferred) with proper certification and care
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and delivery documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced night shift environment
- Strong knowledge of Denver metro area and regional highway systems
- Pass background check, drug screening, and physical examination
- Hazmat certification (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging systems
