Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across designated Florida routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations and client interactions
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route planning and real-time communication with dispatch
- Document delivery information and handle paperwork with meticulous attention to detail
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of Florida roadways and commercial vehicle regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for irregular schedules including nights and weekends
