Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated addresses in Kansas City and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload packages, ensuring all items are secure and accounted for during transit.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving delivery issues efficiently.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Update delivery status accurately in the company's tracking system.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic computer literacy and smartphone proficiency for GPS and logging.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Customer service-oriented attitude.
