Responsibilities
- Safely load, secure, and unload packages from the delivery vehicle.
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses in a timely and professional manner.
- Interact courteously with customers, verifying deliveries and obtaining signatures as required.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Use handheld scanners and GPS systems to ensure accurate route planning and delivery tracking.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or delivery exceptions immediately.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Current vehicle insurance and registration.
- Basic smartphone proficiency for using delivery apps and GPS navigation.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
