Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as per DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight with attention to handling protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and safety procedures
- Complete required training programs and certification updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (Texas or transferable)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of vehicle operation and maintenance
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends
- Good communication and time management skills
- Willingness to relocate within Texas if needed
