Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, and retail items to customers across Baltimore
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication via our mobile app
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Optimize routes for timely delivery while adhering to traffic laws
- Represent SpeedyRoute Logistics professionally in all customer interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
- Uphold food safety standards for temperature-sensitive deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift 50+ packages repeatedly throughout shift
- Smartphone proficiency for navigation and app usage
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore neighborhoods and traffic patterns
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
