Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight transport
- Maintain accurate DOT logs and comply with FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route optimization and delivery timelines
- Handle specialized freight requiring temperature control or hazmat endorsement
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Uphall strict safety protocols and company operational standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR/Regional experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Boston metro area traffic patterns and regulations
- Hazmat/Tank endorsements preferred
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally and work in variable weather conditions
