Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Accurately complete logs, manifests, and delivery paperwork
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain clean driving record and professional conduct
- Handle time-sensitive deliveries with punctuality
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Virginia Beach metro area routes
- Hazmat endorsement preferred (not required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Flexibility for early morning starts and weekends
