Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) delivering freight across Southern California
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and comply with DOT regulations
- Inspect vehicles before/after trips to ensure safety standards
- Coordinate with dispatchers for efficient route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Load/unload shipments with proper equipment handling
- Report maintenance issues and document delivery confirmations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Familiarity with Los Angeles metro area routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Flexibility for early morning start times
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred
