Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed) over 26,000 lbs GVWR
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and FMCSA compliance standards
- Plan efficient routes using advanced GPS and telematics systems
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Coordinate with dispatchers for timely delivery and pickup schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong commitment to safety and defensive driving practices
