Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery paperwork in strict accordance with regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service during every stop and delivery.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Class 2) and DOT Physical.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road conditions, and safety regulations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or overtime.
