Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles in urban environments
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency using GPS systems
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Assist with inventory management and loading/unloading procedures
- Resolve delivery exceptions with proactive customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean record (3+ years)
- Proven experience in urban delivery operations
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Basic smartphone tech literacy for delivery tracking
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Background check and drug screening required
