Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to Portland metropolitan area addresses
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure timely arrivals
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Inspect vehicles before/after shifts and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
- Assist with warehouse inventory and package sorting as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Portland streets and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery app usage
