Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food packages, retail goods, and documents to customers within Philadelphia city limits
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and GPS tracking for real-time route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during drop-offs and handle payment processing
- Inspect and maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, and mechanical functionality
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Communicate delivery status and delays through our proprietary mobile app
- Assist with warehouse operations when not on delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience (commercial or delivery preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and navigate stairs during deliveries
- Smartphone proficiency for app-based route navigation and communication
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet tight delivery windows
- Reliable personal vehicle (model 2010 or newer) or willingness to use company vehicle
- Basic knowledge of Philadelphia neighborhoods and traffic patterns
- Pass background check and drug screening (mandatory)
