Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and food deliveries across NYC boroughs using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures upon completion
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to meet tight delivery timeframes
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Handle fragile items with care and adhere to all food safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid Class D driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps (Google Maps, Waze)
- Flexible availability to cover morning/afternoon shifts (6AM-6PM)
- Basic smartphone literacy for delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- NYC residency preferred (for efficient route coverage)
