Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and goods to residential and commercial locations across Los Angeles County
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve delivery-related inquiries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
- Assist with loading/unloading operations and inventory management
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and operate manual transmission vehicles
- Strong knowledge of Los Angeles metropolitan area and surrounding regions
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to pass mandatory background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and delivery tracking
