Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles in a professional and courteous manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads according to DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery receipts, and mileage records.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, speed limits, and company safety policies.
- Interact professionally with customers, drivers, and warehouse staff.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations and safety procedures.
- Ability to lift and carry cargo up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
