Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated addresses in the Denver, IL area.
- Load and unload packages efficiently, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.
- Verify delivery addresses and collect payments or obtain signatures as required.
- Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the delivery vehicle.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (Class C or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and payments.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred but not always required).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
