Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food, packages, and merchandise to customers within designated Oakland routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Communicate delivery status updates via mobile app to ensure transparency
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 1 year)
- Must be 21+ years old with reliable transportation to depot
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management and navigation skills (GPS proficiency required)
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays during peak demand
- Pass background check and drug screening (mandatory)
- Prior delivery or logistics experience preferred
