Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages to residential and commercial customers within designated routes
- Optimize delivery schedules using GPS navigation to ensure timely arrivals
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and handle inquiries professionally
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery
- Inspect and maintain delivery vehicles, reporting maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery issues and route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 70 pounds
- Strong time management skills and punctuality
- Basic smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
