Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for weekend delivery routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipments
- Ensure cargo security and temperature control requirements
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license (or Class B with Hazmat endorsement)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no DUIs in past 5 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement rules
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs occasionally
- Weekend availability required (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
