Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for time-sensitive deliveries throughout Fort Worth and surrounding areas
- Plan optimal routes using GPS navigation to maximize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain proper signatures for all packages
- Provide exceptional customer service with clear communication during delivery interactions
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Handle fragile, high-value, and temperature-sensitive packages with specialized care
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges and update status in real-time
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience or equivalent delivery background
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 pounds regularly and operate loading equipment
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery software
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple deliveries
- Reliable transportation to/from starting location (company vehicle provided during shift)
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening as per company policy
