Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport time-sensitive packages and documents across San Diego County
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and proof-of-delivery documentation
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to ensure maximum efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Coordinate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions and reroute as necessary
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience with commercial vehicle familiarity
- Strong knowledge of San Diego geography and major transportation corridors
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and communication
- Reliable transportation to/from daily dispatch point
- Background check and drug screening clearance required
